Commencing a divorce action requires the careful collection of essential information as well as understanding the specific needs both financially and emotionally of the client. The process starts with an extensive initial interview. I always provide my initial conference at no cost to you. This way you receive detailed information about the process that you face while being able to decide if I am the right advocate for you. Issues which must be addressed in any Agreement presented to the Court are Child support, alimony, division of property and debt and the provision of health insurance. Since support for a child can be continued until their 23rd birthday in Massachusetts, provision for college and other post high school education costs must also be addressed.
